About Mackenzie

Mackenzie is a BFA 2025 Graduate from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for Costume Technology. A lifetime love of theatre and art drives her desire for excellence in her craftsmanship. Mackenzie found her love of costuming when she began working at her local Renaissance Festival in her freshman year of high school. Mackenzie has a particular interest in corsetry, tailoring, and costume crafts. In her time outside the shop, Mackenzie enjoys decorating cakes, playing board games, and the color pink.

Theatrical Experience

May 2025- Now

Norwegian Cruise Line Creative Studios

  • Construct and alter theatrical costumes to the specifics requested by management, in a timely fashion.

  • Operate commercial and industrial equipment to include Single needle industrial sewing machine, industrial serger, double needle cover stitch machine, industrial ruffler, patch machine, industrial steamers, and irons.

  • Knowledge of construction techniques and use of materials, interlinings, and interfacings in manufacturing of garments.

Summer 2024

Texas Shakespeare Festival

  • Stitcher for the four mainstage productions; Much Ado About Nothing, Julius Caesar, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Sweeney Todd
